Background :- Quality is an important aspect in India. It is gaining an increasing concern in every field. Educational Planners and Administrators all over the world are centred on the quality of Education. In this matter the apex bodies related to education are greatly concerned with quality as well as quality education.
National Curriculam Framework (NCF 2005) also gives
emphasis on the improvement in Quality of Education. Moreover, UNESCO 2000 Report 'The Quality Imperative' adds that there is a need to improve the Quality of Education by improving teaching and learning. No doubt, in the matter of quality of education, teacher-education is an important aspect. In India, NCTE is also trying to improve the quality of Teacher Education. R. Govinda Committee also focused on the qualitative teacher-education. But, in spite of large scale initiatives quality of teacher-education has remained far from desired objectives. There is a need for a more direct action to be initiated at all the levels of Teacher-Education. The proposed Seminar is an attempt to understand and address the qualitative perspective in the context of teacher-education in India.
It is an attempt to examine the current trends in qualitative teacher-education at Pre-School, Elementary School and Secondary School level. It provides a plateform to teacher educators, scholars, academician and students for discussion and share the experiences & practices.

1- Those interested are welcomed to send their ABSTRACT (words limit 300) neatly typed with CD (M.S. Word or Pagemaker).
2- Abstracts without registration fee will not be accepted.
3- Full length paper (two copies) must be submit at the time of the registration. Kindly bring in hard copy so that it can be distributed to the desired participants.
4- The abstracts must be sent to the Organising Secretary by Post or by E-mail on cdcdvc@gmail.com or madhukar26@rediffmail.com
Registration Fee :- It includes Seminar materials, hospitality etc.
For Outstation Participants - Rs. 500/-
For Local Participants (Distt. Jalaun) - Rs. 300/-
The Registration fee must be sent in the favour of "Yogendra Bechain" payable at ‘Orai’ through Bank Draft or by Money Order.
Accomodation :-
1- The Organizing Committee will provide the facility of general Accomodation/Dormitory to the registered participants only.
2- Those want Deluxe Accomodation must sent Rs. 400/- with registration fee.
Travel Allowance :- TA is subject to the availability of funds.
